Tue, 20 November 2007 School of the Americas Watch--Third Planet Report 11/22/07 Third Planet Report travels to Ft. Benning at Columbus GA to join in the vigil against the School of the Americas or more accurately named--the School of the Assassins. Hippielawyer Alan Graf speaks with the folks that made the journey. There were over 20,000 people who attended. The event reached a level of intensity Sunday when mourners moved passed the gates of Ft. Benning chanting the names of the dead and disappeared. It was as if we were at the epicenter of heaven and hell. Guild lawyers in green hats were a visible and assuring presence in contrast to the Army helicopters that circled overhead and the throngs of police surrounding the event. Dennis Kucinich spoke along with Congress people Cynthia McKinney and Jim McGovern. Shut the SOA down!! Alan Graf Comments[2] |
